Days in Oberstdorf ᎒
The Ice in Oberstdorf feels so different than the ones in the ice rinks of Switzerland. It‘s so soft and warm. Usually I need only days to adjust fully but this time, during the two weeks of the camp I had difficulties adjusting. Normally I love being in here in the Center of Excellence but this time it was hard. Maybe too warm? 🤔 I can‘t really explain, my body just didn’t feel how it usually does. It felt much harder and more intense than all the years before. I felt lost. I got tired and exhausted for no reason.
Test Skate Dübendorf (August 11-12) ᎒
During these two days we had to perform our two programs (SP&FS) and it didn‘t go well for me. I have never skated as bad as on that weekend. I felt weak and powerless. I was disappointed of myself, not being able to show what I am capable of. Looking forward to the practice in Bäretswil and hoping, I will get back on track. 🤞🏽
Practice before JGP in Istanbul ᎒
After the Test Skate in Dübendorf I needed my time to adjust my mind back to positivity. I am happy being back in Bäretswil for practice and looking forward working hard. I had a little cold during the last few days and I couldn’t perform well. Maybe that was the reason for not being able to adjust as usual. Now I feel much better and I feel I’m back! 💪🏼 I feel good, I feel strong and full of energy. I’m able to do all my triples again and I feel so happy about it. 🙏🏽 So now I need to keep working and focus on what is coming up soon:
